My name is DebraIee Daniels, and I am many people. I am a teacher, and have worked with and for children most of my teen and adult life. I am in grad school now so I can become an educational advocate for special needs families. I am a wife to a supportive husband who could be classified as a rocket scientist. He is also my resident techie without whom I would not survive online. I have a son who is a drummer with a punk rock band that recently got a recording contract. They completed their first CD, which will be out this summer while they tour the country and Canada. They are called Anchors for Arms, and I am a very proud mother.

 I started writing in third grade, and never really stopped. I’ve written music, plays, poetry, and stories for children as well as adults. When my son graduated form high school I got serious about taking my writing to the next level. My special interests are paranormal, fantasy, futuristic, and I write with a strong element of humor. I am active on the Romance Divas site and RWA, and just started a site for writers of Paranormal and Fantasy who enjoy using comedy, called for the moment Like Minds Writing. I also review for Divas, and for another online reviewing site.

I love animals, hearing and making music, and seeing and participating in the theater. I enjoy helping others and I consider myself spiritual. I direct a group of performers who do shows for senior citizens, hospitals, and churches. We also do charity performances for groups like the Battered Women’s Shelters, and health care clinics for children. My whole family makes beautiful music together.
